HELLO FRIENDS AND FAMILY!

My good friend Ted Coe of KCSB and I at my table during the San Diego Comic Con. Photo by Rosminah Brown.
I hope that this message finds you well! 2009 has been a very exciting year for the cartooning land of Mollycules! I'm currently preparing to exhibit two new books at the Alternative Press Expo in San Fransisco October 17-18. I will be at Table 420. APE is held at the Concourse Exhibition Center at 620 7th Street.
This July I completed my first children's book, Under the Sneep Tree: The Wamboozling of a Village, and premiered it at the San Diego Comic Con. I had a table in the Artists Alley again and sold out of all my copies before the show even ended!
Under the Sneep Tree: The Wamboozling of a Village is a story about a village of friendly monsters called Wamboozles who experience a terrible fire. During the disaster, all of the nature is destroyed including the Sneep Trees which bear a fruit essential for their survival. A small group of Wamboozles set out to search for food and and accidentally wander off into a town where they meet Percy, a young girl. Initially they are scared of one another, but eventually learn that their differences are harmless. Over time they learn about each others culture, history, and create a timeless bond. Click here to see preview page and to order.
Ten percent of all sales go to Childrens Hospice and Palliative Care Coalition.
I'd like to personally thank ONIRACOM, Eddie Ellner, Jeff Light, Alan Macy, Susan Tova, Doug Harris, Eric Lohela, Tad Wagner, Mark Goerner, Joe Palladino, and Dagnija Meyer for making the printing of the third edition possible.
Sketches of the Day: Summer 09 is my first compilation of sketches. I started doing a sketch of the day after I finished my children’s book. This collection represents a first few steps into uncharted territory as I experiment with different styles, ways of telling stories, and creating a more personal connection with my audience. I’m honored to share these unique moments with you! Click here for preview pages and to order.
Currently all editions of my book and prints are printed locally at Graphic Traffic - they do amazing work and accept online orders. www.graphtraff.com
