In this speech, I acknowledged the experiences of my class as well as how going through the program changed my life, personally and in my business.
Eleven years prior to giving this speech, I stood before a large crowd as a homeless teenager, graduating from high school with high honors without a witness to what I was really going through as I went on to pursue my dreams. I had the chance to rewrite history through giving this speech and can safely say that there are many people in my present day life that I have chosen to be a part of my family. Thank you to my community, my loving partner, my friends, WEV, the ocean, the mountains...I am truly blessed. Onward, with Bravery!
